Can I Provide Edit Access to Only Specific Booths to Others Outside of My Team?
Yes, this is another unique feature of Boothy! If you want to provide edit access to only specific booths to people outside of your team, you can invite people to join as a Limited Member.
A Limited Member will be able to make changes to booths that they are invited to edit. They will be able to host as well (e.g. start a video chat, mute a participant). However, they will ONLY be able to see and make changes to booths that they are invited to. They will NOT be able to create new booths or edit existing ones.
Limited Member is ideal for organizations that have a membership with members from other organizations. As part of the membership, you want to offer a booth to each member where they can update and make changes to only their booth. This is also ideal for hosting a virtual event where each booth is assigned to a different organization or entity.
To invite people to join as a Limited Member to your team, follow these steps:
Click on your Profile icon on the upper right
Click on Team to bring up the Manage Team page
Scroll down to the Team Members section
Enter the team member's email address and select the Limited Member role
Once you select the Limited Member role, a box will appear to select the booths you want that person to have access to (You can invite the team member to manage as many booths you would like to)
After selecting the booths, click the Invite button.
You can allow the Limited Member to access to team media by checking the box. If you want to know more information about the differences between Team Media or Personal Media, click here.
You can edit the access for the team member. To edit the access for the Limited Member, follow these steps:
Click on your Profile icon on the upper right.
Click on Team to bring up the Manage Team page.
Scroll down to the Team Members section.
On the box with the Team Member emails, name, role, and more, under the Access column, click on the Edit link for the Limited Member of your preference.
A box will open to edit the booths for this member. You can remove or add booth to this team member. Once you are finished, click the Close button.
