A booth on the Boothy platform is like a physical booth in the real world. It is a 24x7 space you can use to interact with your customers, audience, and others whenever you need and like. How Does the Email Subscription Section Works?

The email subscription section is similar to a website that solicits visitors to enter their email addresses in order to send them communication and marketing materials. Once a user fills in the subscription form on a booth, the booth host will receive an update in their Contacts section. The user’s email address is added to the Subscribers list.

How to Set up the Email Subscription Section?

Follow these steps:

On your booth dashboard, click Manage on the booth you want to change.

Click on the Edit Booth or Edit.

Click on the Edit button next to Email Subscription section.
After clicking on the Edit button, you will see the options available for the Email Subscription section. This section is enabled by default. You can disable this section if you do not want to collect visitors' email addresses.

You can also personalize the request and subscription confirmation by changing the default text in both the Description and Confirmation Text, respectively.

Where Does the Booth Card Appear?

The booth card is how your booth is shown within pages like collections and events. It shows a short description of your booth with a button to enter your booth.

You can edit the Booth Card image and description in the Booth Branding section:

Click on Edit or Edit Booth.
Go to Brand settings by clicking on Edit and scroll down to the Booth Card section.
Edit the description directly in the Booth Card shown. To change the image, click on the Upload icon to replace the image.

After making the changes, click on Apply.
If you would like to save the changes without making it permanent, click on Save Draft at the top right of the page. If you are ready to publish the updates, click on Save & Publish.

What Is the Maximum Number of Participants in Video and Text Chat?

The max capacities for the different booth components are as follows:

Unlimited - Number of people who can enter the booth
100 - Number of people who can participate in a text chat
15 - Number of people who can participate in a video chat

Example: If 20 people are in your virtual booth, 15 people will be able to video chat and everyone will be able to text chat.

To view the current capacity for your booth, simply click on Edit in the Video & Text Chat section under Edit Booth.

What is a Team?

A team in Boothy is how you decide which booths belong together and which users have access to them. You might decide your entire company or organization all belong to one team, or a separate team for each department or product line.

Absolutely. You can easily create additional teams and switch between them. To create a new team:

Click on your Profile icon on the upper right
Click on + Create New Team
