Can I Be Notified When Someone is in My Booth?



Yes, this is one of the awesome features of Boothy! In fact, there are different ways you can be notified depending on your preference.

Select and Enable Your Choice of Notification (Email and/or SMS)



Click on the profile icon and select "Notification Settings"
Enable the options that you would like to activate. For SMS, enter the mobile phone number you want to be notified at
Click on the Update Phone Number. After updating your phone number, you will be asked to verify your phone number
Click on the link to verify your phone number
A verification code will be sent via SMS to the phone number entered
Once you receive the verification code, enter it in the Phone Verification dialog




1. Receive a Notification When Someone Enters Your Booth



If you want to receive a notification anytime a visitor enters your booth:

On your Dashboard, click on the Manage button.
Enable the Subscribe to notifications for this booth



To receive notifications, remember to enable one of the options in the Notification Settings section of your profile


2. Receive a Notification When Someone Enters a Message in Your Contact Section



If you do not want to be notified every time someone enters your booth, but only when they requested it using the Contact form:

On your Dashboard, click on the Manage button.
Click on Edit or Edit Booth.
Click Edit next to the Contact section.
Enable the Contact. The title of this section is editable as well,
When you are finished, click on Apply
If you are ready for these changes to take effect immediately, click on the down arrow located at the top right of the page, next to the Preview/Enter buttons. Select Save & Publish. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm your action by selecting Publish Now.



Where can you find the messages from your customers?



When a customers send you a message, they are stored in the Contacts section of your booth.

On your Dashboard, click on the Manage button.
Click on Contacts.
Next, you will see the Contacts section. Click on the Messages section. You are going to find a list of messages here that you can export as well.




3. Receive a Notification Sound when Guests Enter



If you want to be alerted when someone enters your booth while you are online (and have your booth open):

This is ideal for situations where you step away from your device or have another browser window open. Make sure to have your volume turned up so that you don't miss it!

On your Dashboard, click on the Enter Booth button.
In your Booth, you will see a bell icon in the Booth Participants section, under the Video Chat.
By default, it is turned off (the bell is crossed out and in red). The bell will change when you click on it. Once the color changes to green, it means that you have activated the sound notification.
