A booth on the Boothy platform is like a physical booth in the real world. It is a 24x7 space you can use to interact with your customers, audience, and others whenever you need and like. Meet with a sales prospect, conduct training, host a speaking engagement, promote your products and services are just some of the engagements Boothy is ideal for.

Like a physical booth, you can personalize it with your brand, media, and messaging. Conducting a training? Load up your booth with the training materials without having to sending them to your participants. Pitching to an investor? Set it up with your pitch deck, executive summary, and personalize it to that specific investor.

What makes Boothy unique?

First and foremost, you have a dedicated URL you can customize and use to market and promoter anywhere. The booth is 24x7 (as long as it is published) so your customers can visit at anytime. And if you are not online, they can still alert you via SMS that they want to speak with you. Unlike a website, you have the opportunity to engage with them when they are most interested!

Can I Set Up a Private or Unlisted Booth?

You booth is public and listed (searchable) by default. However, you can change your booth to either public and unlisted or private requiring the attendees to enter a passcode your provide them.

On your booth dashboard, click Manage on the booth you want to change.
Click on the Edit Booth or Edit.
Click on Edit next to the Settings section.
Scroll down to Booth Privacy. You will see three possible options:

Public - Listed Anyone can view/enter the booth using the Booth URL. Your booth MAY show up on searches on the Boothy platform.
Public - Unlisted Anyone can view/enter the booth using the Booth URL. However, this booth will NOT show up on searches on the Boothy platform.
Private This booth will NOT show up on searches on the Boothy platform. A passcode is required to enter the booth.

The max capacities for the different booth components are as follows:

Unlimited - Number of people who can enter the booth
100 - Number of people who can participate in a text chat
15 - Number of people who can participate in a video chat

Example: If 20 people are in your virtual booth, 15 people will be able to video chat and everyone will be able to text chat.

To view the current capacity for your booth, simply click on Edit in the Video & Text Chat section under Edit Booth.

What is the Maximum Number of Participants in a Venue Event?

By default, the maximum capacities for the venue event are as follows:

Unlimited - Number of people who can enter the venue event
100 - Number of people who can participate in the event wide text chat
100 - Number of people who can participate in the text chat inside the booth
15 - Number of people who can participate in a video chat inside the booth

Example: If 250 people are in your venue event, 15 people will be able to video chat inside each booth at the same time and 200 will be able to chat in the event-wide text chat simultaneously.

To view the current capacity for your event, simply click on Edit in the Video & Text Chat section under Edit Event.

Can I Be Notified When Someone is in My Booth?

Yes, this is one of the awesome features of Boothy! In fact, there are different ways you can be notified depending on your preference.

Select and Enable Your Choice of Notification (Email and/or SMS)

Click on the profile icon and select "Notification Settings"
Enable the options that you would like to activate. For SMS, enter the mobile phone number you want to be notified at
Click on the Update Phone Number. After updating your phone number, you will be asked to verify your phone number
Click on the link to verify your phone number
A verification code will be sent via SMS to the phone number entered
Once you receive the verification code, enter it in the Phone Verification dialog

1. Receive a Notification When Someone Enters Your Booth

If you want to receive a notification anytime a visitor enters your booth:

On your Dashboard, click on the Manage button.
Enable the Subscribe to notifications for this booth
